2010 Missions Staff Announced
SAN ANTONIO - The San Diego Padres announced today that Doug Dascenzo will be the new San Antonio Missions Manager for the 2010 season. Joining Dascenzo on the field staff will be Hitting Coach Max Venable, Pitching Coach Glenn Abbott and Athletic Trainer JoJo Tarantino. More >A New Mission
Entering the Missions locker room after the final game of the season, an elimination loss in the playoffs to the Midland RockHounds, the mood was surprisingly light. Players walked around, smiling, congratulating two members of the team- pitcher Ernesto Freiri and outfielder Luis Durango- who had just been told that they were being promoted to the Major Leagues for the remainder of the season.
