Brandon Yarbrough's two-RBI double capped a five-run ninth inning Thursday as the Memphis Redbirds rallied for an 8-6 victory over the Albuquerque Isotopes to take a 2-0 lead in the best-of-5 Pacific Coast League semifinals.

Trailing entering their final at-bat, 6-3, the Redbirds got a two-run single from Mark Hamilton and a game-tying base hit from Allen Craig before Yarbrough's clutch two-out line drive to center field gave Memphis the lead.

Hamilton finished 3-for-4 with a double and two runs scored and Tyler Green belted a solo homer for Memphis, which posted a 6-2 victory at Isotopes Park in Wednesday's series opener.

Tyler Norrick (1-0) pitched a scoreless eighth to pick up the win and Pete Parisi struck out one in a perfect ninth for his first playoff save.

Major League veteran Blake DeWitt went 3-for-5 with a double, two runs scored and an RBI for Albuquerque, which went 2-for-12 with runners in scoring position.

Scott Strickland (0-1) took the loss after surrendering five runs on four hits while retiring only two batters.

Game 3 is Friday night in Memphis.
