11
Casey Kotchman, 1B, Angels (128)
2005 stats: [AAA] .289 BA/ .372 OBP/ .441 SLG [LA] .179 BA/ .324 OBP/ .500 SLG
2005 Club: Salt Lake City/Los Angeles ETA in Majors: 2005 Preseason Rank: 5
Shaking off an awful April (.192), Kotchman has been raking ever since, hitting over .300 in every month since before getting called up to help the big club.

12
John Danks, LHP, Rangers (124)
2005 stats: 6-9, 3.86 ERA, 130.2 IP, 131 H, 39 BB, 119 K
2005 Club: Bakersfield/Frisco ETA in Majors: 2006 Preseason Rank: 22
The Rangers continue to push their young lefty phenom and Double-A hasn't been as easy to master. The K rate shows his stuff will play any level as he and Thomas Diamond continue to move up together.

13
Hanley Ramirez, SS, Red Sox (108)
2005 stats: .271 BA/ .333 OBP/ .393 SLG
2005 Club: Portland (Double-A) ETA in Majors: 2006 Preseason Rank: 19
Just 21, Ramirez had a whirlwind July with a trip to the Futures Game and playing host to the Eastern League All-Star Game. Edgar Renteria says he'll move when Ramirez is ready.

14
Zach Duke, LHP, Pirates (106)
2005 stats: 17-3, 2.50 ERA, 154.2 IP, 152 H, 35 BB, 101 K
2005 Club: Indianapolis/Pittsburgh ETA in Majors: 2005 Preseason Rank: 35
His days as a Minor Leaguer are over. After going 12-3 in Indy, he's made the National League look silly so far.

15
Francisco Liriano, LHP, Twins (100)
2005 stats: 10-6, 4.34 ERA, 144.2 IP, 102 H, 46 BB, 169 K
2005 Club: New Britain/Rochester ETA in Majors: 2006 Preseason Rank: 37
Liriano's been even better in Triple-A than he was in Double-A. The lefty is holding International League hitters to a .141 batting average against in 10 starts and has a 26 2/3 scoreless innings streak going.

16
Joel Guzman, SS, Dodgers (99)
2005 stats: .282 BA/ .343 OBP/ .488 SLG
2005 Club: Jacksonville (Double-A) ETA in Majors: 2007 Preseason Rank: 16
Strikeouts aside, Guzman has handled the stick very well as a 20-year-old in Double-A. He's mixed in a little third base, perhaps a harbinger of things to come.

17
Lastings Milledge, OF, Mets (96)
2005 stats: [A] .302 BA/ .385 OBP/ .418 SLG [AA] .304 BA/ .362 OBP/ .374 SLG
2005 Club: St. Lucie/Binghamton ETA in Majors: 2007 Preseason Rank:21
Milledge cracks the top 20 after going to the Futures game, getting promoted to Double-A and hitting well there.

18
Andy LaRoche, 3B, Dodgers (94)
2005 stats: [A] .333 BA/ .380 OBP/ .651 SLG [AA] .269 BA/ .365 OBP/ .483 SLG
2005 Club: Vero Beach/Jacksonville ETA in Majors: 2007 Preseason Rank: --
LaRoche debuts this high thanks to 21 homers in 63 games in the pitching-friendly Florida State League, a promotion to Double-A and a trip to the Futures Game.

19
Brandon Wood, SS, Angels (94)
2005 stats: .312 BA/ .374 OBP/ .657 SLG
2005 Club: Rancho Cucamonga ETA in Majors: 2008 Preseason Rank: --
Wood leads all of the Minor Leagues with 35 homers and has surprised even his own organization with his ability to stay at shortstop defensively.

20
Ryan Sweeney, OF, White Sox (83)
2005 stats: .282 BA/ .343 OBP/ .350 SLG
2005 Club: Birmingham (Double-A) ETA in Majors: 2006 Preseason Rank: 31
Sweeney missed some time due to a bad hammy, but has still managed to hit .281 as a 20-year-old in Double-A, thanks to a .337 July.
