Lakewood, N.J. -- The Lakewood BlueClaws have a fresh new look on the World Wide Web as they celebrate their fifth anniversary. The BlueClaws have teamed up with Single Throw Internet Marketing to create a fun and interactive web site for fans to browse and enjoy.
The brand new web site features a fresh, bright new look highlighted with new pictures and text. Fans can get all the latest information on the team including rosters, stats, alumni reports, box scores and game recaps.
"This is truly one the best web sites in all of minor league baseball," BlueClaws General Manager Geoff Brown said. "Fans have the opportunity to purchase tickets online, shop for their favorite BlueClaws merchandise and stay informed on all the latest news."
One of the main features of the new web site is real time ticketing where fans can purchase their tickets and see the section they will be sitting in. The web site features a seating chart where fans can see what the view is like from any particular section.
Among the other features of the new web site is an online store that features all the best in BlueClaws and Phillies merchandise. Fans can also browse and pick out merchandise from a wide variety of other minor league as well as major league baseball teams.
With the five year anniversary of the Lakewood BlueClaws comes a lot of great promotions, all of which are listed on the web site in an easy to read format. Fans can see when the game is, what time the game starts, and the type of promotion for the night.
Along with the new web site comes a brand new email news letter chopped full of pictures, promotional information, and team updates. All fans are invited to sign up for the newsletter when on line.
The BlueClaws have a few returning faces in 2005, most notably manager P.J. Forbes, who led the BlueClaws to their first 70 win season. Other notables on this year's team are the Phillies first round pick Greg Golson, second rounder Jason Jaramillo, and sixth rounder Sean Gamble.
