WELCOME
TO KNIGHTS STADIUM
Located just 12 miles south of Center City Charlotte

On April
15, 1990 the first pitch was thrown in Knights Stadium. This 10,002 seat
facility is home to the Triple-A Affiliate of the Chicago White Sox. The
facility was built after an arson's fire destroyed the team's home in
Charlotte's South End.
The largest
crowd to ever attend a Charlotte Knights game was recorded on July 4,
2008 when 15,591 fans packed the ballpark to watch the Knights take on
Durham. Those fans were also treated to what has become a tradition, an
Independence Day Fireworks Celebration.
